Kantar Insights Division is part of the Kantar Group, a data and evidence-based agency providing insights and actionable recommendations to clients, worldwide. We have a complete, unique, and rounded understanding of people around the world: how they think, feel and act, globally and locally in over 90 markets.

Kantar Insights Division applies a research process management system covering all requirements of ISO 20252:2019. The scope of this attestation covers the following countries/regions: Singapore (HQ), Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Kantar Insights Division has elected to include the following research services to be attested to in accordance with Annexes A, B, C, D, E and F, detailed on the following page of this certificate.

For the same Annexes, Exclusions do apply and noted as appropriate. These will be outsourced to approved third party subcontractors in the regions as described below.

Statement of Applicability – Effective 28 October 2021

Annex A: Sampling including access panels Kantars Insight Division does confirm with the clients the research design and methods to be used to select samples for research designs in all countries in the scope defined.
Excluded: A.5 Access Panels. Kantar Insights Division is not involved in actively managing access panels. This is fully outsourced and subcontracted to preferred vendors.
Annex B: Fieldwork Kantar Insights Division does offer data collection for quantitative and qualitative projects using CATI and Face-to-Face fieldwork methodologies. Quantitative Telephone data collection/CATI and Face-to-Face Interviewing: Fieldwork activities are partial and/or fully outsourced to third parties.
Annex C: Physical observation Kantar Insights Division does include data collection using physical observation of activities (e.g., mystery shopping) without the use of direct questioning, questionnaires, or discussion guides.
Excluded geographies: Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia. All data collection is fully outsourced and subcontracted to preferred vendors.
Annex D: Digital observation Kantar Insights Division offer data collection fieldwork using passive methodologies (i.e., collecting comments from social media, Observation and/or tracking of online behaviour).
Excluded geographies: Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia. This is part of a solution, but digital observation data provided by 3rd party platform/forum.
Annex E: Self-completion Kantar Insights Division does data collection using self-completion methodologies including CAWI interviewing with or without the use of panels (on or offline). All data collection is fully outsourced and subcontracted to preferred vendors.
Annex F: Data management and processing Kantar Insights Division provides data management and processing using standard systems/applications including cloud-based applications and software to collect, store and archive research related data. Procedures are covering scripting/data entry, coding, editing, weighting, file preparation, statistical analyses (i.e., done with SPSS) and tabulation, and all other aspects of data management and processing. Kantar Insights Division does not offer software development services.
